We are in Stage 3 (green) reopening status!

We are hoping to have a fun and SAFE summer together!

We are still accepting applications for the 2020 Summer Readiness Programs.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, we are not accepting deposits.

The phases of reopening will dictate protocol and procedures required through the summer program camps.  In the event that our county color level changes through the Summer Readiness Program, all participating families will be notified immediately and adjustments to the program will be made as determined by CDC Guidelines.

Health & Safety Protocols:

  1. There will be a maximum number of 8 students in each class group.
  2. Students must be dropped off and picked up from the glass doors.  Families will not be permitted inside the school building.
  3. Students must wear masks in common areas, such as hallways, during drop off and pick up times. Students will NOT be required to wear a mask during camp hours within the classroom.
  4. Families must supply their students with an extra pair of shoes to be kept in the classroom at all times.  These can be flip-flops, slip-ons, or other easy to get on & off shoes.  Students will be asked to 'swap shoes' as they move from the hallway to the class and back in an effort to keep our carpet sitting areas nice and clean.
  5. All surfaces and materials will be disinfected after each class session every day and as needed throughout the class time.
  6. Proper hand washing and healthy practices will be taught and enforced daily.
  7. Snacks must be packed from home in sealed containers (ie: lunch boxes or sealed ziplock bags) and labeled.
  8. Families must practice social distancing at pick up and drop off times.
  9. During out of school hours, families must  practice safe and responsible social behaviors as dictated by CDC guidelines.
  10. In the event of a reported infection, families must be able to recall and share contacts.  All students and families will be notified if there is a reported case of COVID-19 exposure.  Those students in that class group will immediately move to a virtual learning platform (Zoom) until more information, testing, and tracing can be conducted.

Summer Readiness Program has always been a chance for kids to have a confident foundation to the upcoming school year.  Our 6 week program has helped students review skills from the previous year and introduce them to the concepts they will be seeing in the year ahead.

We are in uncharted waters now.  Every student just lost 3 months of in-class experience.  While some were able to engage in virtual learning platforms, that is not an adequate substitute for face to face interactions with peers and teachers.  We know every child has unique educational needs, but right now, we know they all need each other and the opportunity to learn and play - together.

If you are interested in 2020 Summer Readiness Program, please fill out the submission form on this page and we will contact you within 3 business days to provide an application.  Spaces are limited.
